This is a bargain. I was looking at the Alphason AD3/105 at £200 and glad I went for this!
15 minutes to build, stunningly simple build, not one tool required. Only negative is no cable management, but there are plenty of cheap cable management ideas and I have just saved myself £150.
The legs are like an anodised metal.
There is a lack of dimensions so I did some measuring for you:
Overall Dimensions:
1050mm(W) x 450mm(D) x 530mm(H)
Glass Thickness:
Top - 8mm
Middle/Bottom Shelf - 5mm
Space between shelves:
Top to Middle = 227mm
Middle to Bottom = 215mm
Space Between Posts:
Front - 903mm
Back - 603mm

I got this stand for the bargain price of £39.99 when I bought a TV and couldn't be happier with it! Its fantastically made - a top quality item and looks so nice with an LCD screen sitting on it, a very stylish bit of kit. Highly recommend!

For a great deal look no further! once assembled looks more than £50 worth, it's sturdy and I have seen other stands in many shops for £150+ that looked no different, it could easily pass as a £150+ stand without doubt, I love a bargain more than most and recommend buying this product without a second thought, it complements any modern flat screen tv, why pay £150ish for the same kind of stand;)

| Got my stand arrive today by Parcelforce. Box is about 30kg, packed well and nothing broken. Unpacked it and very simple to assemble and no tools needed. Took about 15 minutes max to do and ready for use. Put all the packing material rubbish back in the box to take to the tip and vacuumed up a few bits of polystyrene on the carpet, 20 mins in total. Seen very similar stands in some of the multiple stores for 2 or 3 times the price. Doesn't have a cable hiding bit at the back like some of the others. Can't go wrong for the price even better as I got mine with a TV and saved even more money. |
Good value

I'm very pleased with this stand. I got it at a reduced price when I purchased a TV at the same time. It is extremely heavy because it is made of tempered glass. It took about 10 mins to assemble.
As one previous reviewer said, the metal rods do seem to be too short. However if you look carefully at the instructions, the picture of the metal rods shows that one end is fitted with a washer which is designed to stop the rod from screwing in more than halfway. Unfortunately the rods supplied to me didn't have these washers and screwing them in fully does indeed mean they are too short. So the solution is to screw them in halfway. Once the feet are fitted, the stand is stable. Assemble the stand upside down.
Great value for money. |

Bought this on the strength of other customer reviews. Build quality is very sturdy as I found when I tried lifting it in from the courier - thanks Amazon for the prompt delivery!
It's a complete piece of cake to assemble & should take no more that ten minutes with no tools required.
Finish of legs & glass is very good. True, there's no cable tidy facilities, but you can't have everything. I'm using a 32" LCD with it at the moment, but it definitely seems sturdy enough to take much bigger sets should you require. And for the price you can't go wrong. A recommended purchase. |
best value plasma stand available

I cannot recommend this product highly enough.
Bought to replace wobbly Argos unit which cost similar amount.
This fits my 42" plasma perfectly (would also accomodate a 50" but would overhang sides), and has ample shelf space for full width dvd players/av amps sitting side by side (or even stacked 2 high). This despite the rear corners raked for alcove/corner placement.
The stand is easily assembled without tools and is as sturdy as my other wider Alphason £300.00 stand which holds my 50" plasma(although glass not as thick still perfectly solid).
Super saver delivery was fast and was left with neighbour as I wasn't in.

I bought this and specified next day delivery. It arrived before lunch.
The box looked a bit battered but the interior packaging is excellent and the contents were unharmed.
There was a faint scratch on each of 2 shelves. Both are unoticeable in normal use.
This is about a third of the price you get the same item for in the high street. Good quality, very solid, holding a ps3, and amp, a cd player and digital tv recorder with a 40 inch lcd tv with no problems. Wide enough to comfortably seat components side by side on each shelf, it really does look very smart.
I should add, my dad has a smaller stand for his 32 inch telly. It is exactly the same construction, must be the same make, and cost, if I remember correctly, about one hundred and fifty quid a year ago in a high street shop.

| Package arrived quickly and in perfect condition. In response to the comment about the legs being too short, I found this too at first. The trick is to make sure all of the ends of the supports are well pushed-in (I used a rubber hammer but simple pressure on the ends will probably do it). Once these are all pushed in it is possible to screw the feet on with downward pressure (lots of it!). Instructions imply that the metal rods are different at each ends - ignore this (mine were identical at both ends). All in all took 20mins to assemble and looks great. |

| Well what can i say, Its what a tv stand should be, Its brilliantly built easy to make, easy to maintain and a perfect price. It beats the usual crappy stuff you get around 40 quid for example it had no lose wobberly bits, no colour fade or chips, easy to follow instructions and they were even kind enough to leave info on the type of glass just in case if you have an accident of some sort. Finally amazon are great they stick to there word on delivery. So anyone looking for a decent tv stand for a bargain price this is the one for you.I bought this to go with my samsung 32 inch tv i must admit it does finish it off nicely and shows off the tvs curvy lines. There is only one negative and its only a negative because im lazy. Its very easy to see dust on it so if you leave it for two weeks it does start to look rather rank, But a simple quick dust over once a week is all it needs. |
