Brilliant picture and sound,I wanted built in Freesat and having researched the various makes that had Freesat built in I decided that the LG model was the best value for money, and it does not disapoint!. The various options for picture and sound are very good and work well. HD programmes are unbelievably detailed on this screen. One thing I was concerned about was output from the TV to my DVD recorder, this is the only let down as far as I am concerned as the TV has to be on to record to a DVD/VCR and also the channel you want to record also has to be on, this means that you cannot watch another channel whilst recording. This aside I have no regrets in purchasing this model. Well done LG!
Excellent TV worth the money,

This is the first time I have reviewed a product on here,
I was originally off put by some of the reviews regarding its compatability with the PS3, It almost made me choose a different TV,
However I decided to go with it, PS3 works absoultley perfectly on my TV with a regular Bush HDMI cable I purchased, Blu ray and games are perfect and no probs with the menu screens,
Installation, Very easy to do, I switched it on with ariels and LNB cable connected, it scanned for all the freeview and Freesat channels available,
Sound, Very good quality,
Freesat, I had a dish already from old sky subscription I used to have, so I just connected the wire and let the TV scan for freesat channels, It will also scan for other non freesat channels that are FTA,
HD,
BBC HD looks amazing, ITV HD also looks amazing, it is a shame there are not more HD channels on Freesat yet, There is also a channel called Luxe HD which is more of an advertising channel but again excellent quality,
I love the tv, and have had no problems at all with it,
I would recommend it |
Does what it says

This telly seems to be fine for what I want it to do, which is mostly to watch programmes recorded on a Humax freesat box. The fact that the tv has its own freesat tuner means I should be able to watch one channel while recording two others (when I connect a third cable to the LNB on the dish). It set itself up with no problems when connected to the newly installed Sky dish. The users manual is informative and sufficient. I have not bothered with the CD that comes with it. Amazon's delivery service was good, as always. One small niggle is the buttons on the remote. They are a bit small, but I'll get used to that, I am sure. So... a satisfied customer.

I am extremly satisafied with my T.V. I readed a few reviews before i bought the T.V which were i bit off putting about the PS3 link up, but i went ahead and purched the T.V. The HD on the T.V is excerllent ecpecially with the PS3 and HD Channels. I fully recomend on purchesing this T.V. If your looking for a good T.V with freesat build in for an amazing price.
PS3 Use

I cannot understand why some reviewers are saying this TV is bad with the PS3. Perhaps it is because this 32" model does not have 100Hz Trumotion. I have the 42" model and I must say the picture quality when playing games and watching bluray (And on the home screen as one other reviewer mentioned) on my PS3 is truly magnificent. The picture is incredibly clear and motion is silky smooth. I really cannot understand why the could potentially be such a big difference between the 32" model and the 42" when it comes to image quality. If you are interested in this TV do not hesitate to buy the 42" and watching BBC HD on freesat HD today was incredible.
Best quality picture

I had looked at this product in Curry's so I was familiar with the spec. I ordered online with Amazon and delivery was fast (2 days), efficient and a much better price . I fitted the same day and I am delighted with the TV. The picture is brilliant. The only slight problem was that the mounting screws were too long for my wall bracket so I had to cut them down and the mounting sockets set in the back of the TV seem a little flimsy but other than that "perfect"
Works perfectly and easy to set up

The TV was delivered swiftly, with a telephone call to ensure we were here to collect it. I plugged it into the wire that had been Sky years ago and it has worked quickly and well. Slight problems matching the colours I want on screen would be the only criticism I could make
Excellent LCD TV

This is an excellent LCD TV. I particularly bought it as a second TV and also for the built in Freesat (as we had an old sky dish doing nothing...) Everything works well. Good picture on both standard and high definition signals (although only used with Sky HD at 1080i resolution). Nothing negative to report so far. The best thing was that Amazon had reduced the TV to £349, which was an absolute bargain. Wouldn't necessarily be my first choice TV, if I hadn't wanted the built in Freesat as there is great competition out there.
Does this have Freeview as well as Freesat?

Haven't got a dish at moment and happy with Freeview for now considering so few HD channels. However, I want a Freesat TV as I may be moving to mid Wales where there's no Freeview and also for when more HD channels come on stream. So has 32LF7700 definitely got both Freeview and Freesat receivers?
Also if it's got 2 receivers, can I output and record a Freeview channel whilst watching another on Freesat? |

An excellent TV with a very clear HD picture and benefitting from an inbuilt Freesat decoder. Simply plugged in my old Sky satellite connection, followed the simple, on-screen set-up instructions and there was a freesat picture on all the channels within seconds. Very impressed with picture and sound output and very pleased with the array of different input options (3 x HDMI, USB, SCART, CI and other Audio/video input options.
