| After debating which tv to buy for some months, i came across this one in Dixons and liked what it had to offer, but i found it a lot cheaper on Amazon. I can't fault anything about it, it comes with a cd rom manual, but i didn't need to use it as the tv is so easy to use, the initial set-up is simple, just follow the prompts. The picture quality is absolutely stunning, as is the sound and it looks classy. My only gripe is that there was no pc cable, and it said in the paper leaflet that there was. All in all, this is an excellent tv at an unbelievable price. |

Where to start!!!!!!! How easy was that....... I am not a technical person so was a little concerned about setting up a new tv but it was delivered at 12 and we were sat down watching it at 12:30. Fantastic picture and clear crisp sound.
If you are thinking about buying a new tv I would highly recommend this one! |

I ordered this TV from Amazon after a lot of research. The price was way lower than I could find anywhere else. The first TV arrived a couple of days after ordering and unfortunately had been damaged during the delivery. However Amazon were great and had issued a replacement within hours of me telling them. This arrived a day later.
Anyway, on to the TV. I don't proclaim to be an expert on LCD TV's, however, even I can tell that the picture quality when HD is played through it is quite amazing. Crisp, clear, vibrant colours. Incredible sharpness and the TV itself looks sexy. Non HD TV still looks ok, maybe a bit pixellated sometimes, but who gives a stuff about that? The sound is also lovely, nice bass and treble, and the clear voice feature is a nice touch. There are loads of things to fiddle with: aspect ratio, energy saving, different picture and audio set-ups etc
So, to conclude I highly recommend this TV, amazing value and an outstanding picture. Sweet |

| After much searching for best value - plumped for this LG. We bought 10 of these for our Hotel and have no problems with set up and fixing to wall. We don't use the fancy stuff - just wanted the best picture. These are great and Amazon had the best price at the time. £40.00 better than Argos or Comet or any other online setup. The 'low power' switch at the back of the set can catch you out if other persons 'fiddle' with the set, but this should not apply to 99.9 per cent of those who buy it. - A great buy |

This is my 3rd LG LCD TV. My first LG LCD was purchased when LCD was first released so I paid a premium. Nowadays Im a bit more switched on and purchase end of line; as the savings are fantastic, and the extra features offered in first generation are negligible.
LG and Samsung make the majority of the LCD screens and system components for the majority of manufacturers; SONY, Panasonic, etc, etc. Over Samsung I prefer LG styling. What you pay for with BIG brands is kudos and in the main, additional sound technology.
Yes, you should purchase a surround sound system for LG LCDs as they don't spend too much on their integrated sound systems. But in doing so you still save a lot of money compared to the uplift costs of SONY Bravia, Panasonic Viera sound bundles for example.
For me; if you're not in it for the name. And if you are looking for quality, reliability, and a sensible purchase I would recommend LG LCD TVs. |

Ordered this tv close to midnight on Wednesday and it came on Saturday morning at 9am.
Decided to buy this tv after much shopping around, and chose this over the Samsung B450, because of the supposed panel lottery issues with Samsungs, and because I was getting a 32" I was told many times that I would only notice a difference between HD ready and full HD (1080p) if I was closer than 4 feet to the screen (which is very close), and so chose this over the LH3000 , which is £50 more.
I'm glad I listened to this advice as sitting a few feet away, the picture quality is fantastic. I'll go through the plus points to this quality tv...
Gaming: have played fifa 10 on my xbox 360 and quite frankly the quality is stunning, absolutely no sound lag as some reviewers have claimed. I have connected as component, not using scart or hdmi, and so I can't comment on how good those connections would be, although I presume HDMI would be even better, other than the fact I can't see how the picture quality could get any better! No motion blur at all.
Digital TV: TV picked up 70+ digital channels in less than 3-4 mins. I connected the tv with the antenna as it recommends, but the actual television pictures will depend on your signal. Nevertheless, all the regular tv channels are available on digital, and soon will not be available anyway with the digital switchover. Picture is fantastic, and the quality is maintained even if you move around the room, unlike many other LCDs.
Sound: the tv has invisible speakers, which could make you wonder how good the sound could be. However, the sound quality is actually excellent, and you can adjust the bass/treble to your liking. The sound is crisp and clear, and stays clear as you turn up the volume. I have this tv for the bedroom, but sit a good few metres away, and dont need to turn it up very loud at all to be able to hear it clearly. The sound goes up to 100 but I find 15-20 is more than enough. I've turrned it up to 50 to test it and it was still perfectly clear.
Picture quality: the picture quality is excellent, and the options regarding adjusting the picture are very expansive. You can adjust the picture to just how you like it. There is no noticeable motion blur watching fast-paced football either. Colours are extremely bright and crisp (should you want them to be).
DVD picture quality: I am playing dvds through my xbox and the quality is still astounding. If you have, or are going to buy, a blu-ray player, PS3 or upscaling DVD player, the quality will blow you away.
You'll love all the little things about this tv as much as the big things. Things such as cinema and sport settings, how you can edit input labels so that for example, component connection is named as 'game' on my tv and has a little picture of a controller, I havent connected anything via HDMI or SCART, but there are options to name connections and set them as different inputs. There is AV1, AV2 and AV3, Component, RGB, HDMI1 and HDMI2, and any can be named as VCR, DVD, Set top box, Satellite, Cable Box, Game, PC, HD-DVD and blu-ray. This is extremely useful if you have alot of connections and inputs to your tv, as you can easily select which one you want to view.
Value: this TV is widely available for under £350 now, and Amazon is the place I found it cheapest. Great delivery service I must say.
Just buy this tv, and see for yourself how awesome it is! |
LG WIDESCREEN HD READY TV

This TV was an early Christmas present for my son. We chose it by comparing the features on three well know brands with the same screen size and similar price range. The reason why we chose this particular one was that it had a headphone (out) socket otherwise we might have chosen a Samsung.
We are very pleased with the choice and excellant quality of both the picture and sound. Even though it is not the recommended LG product for gaming, as this was a little more expensive, it is still very good, excellent value for money and came the day after ordering. The only negative side was that the packaging was badly cut and damaged which we took photos of before unpacking the tv but luckily the tv was ok.
Easy to set up and very instant.LG 32LH2000 32-inch Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV with Freeview - Black |

I deliberated for quite a while before purchasing this TV, studying customer reviews etc. The Sony was too dear so the final choice was between the Samsung and LG...both have excellent reviews. In the end i decided on the LG only because it has two scart sockets as opposed to one with Samsung.
Ordered on Sunday from Amazon and it arrived on Wednesday, with no carriage charges...great service. It was easy to set up with straight forward 'on screen' instructions and is a lovely looking TV. The remote hand control is simple to use.
My final summary is that i made the correct choice. I am more than pleased with the picture quality and the sound. Overall a super television. The only fault i can comment on, and it really is a tiny one, is that the instruction leaflet is on a PC disk so if you should need to check on anything you have the hassle of having to revert to the PC, an instruction booklet would have been more preferable. |

| Like many other buyers I looked at loads of reviews before deciding to buy this tv. It had positive comments from all reviewers so I went for it. This is a super Tv. Lovely clear picture, good sound. It's not fully HD but with a screen size of 32" you wont notice any difference. The only quibble is that the instruction manual is on a disc and you need a computer to view it but the tv is so easy to set up that many people will not need the manual - just follow the menu and prompts on screen. Another good point is that it has an on/off switch so that you wont have to leave it on standby like many other makers tv's. We have had several visitors since we bought the set and many of them have commented on how good the picture is. Just one more point - the price that we paid for it at Amazon was £s cheaper than anywhere else including Argos, Currys and other main street traders. With the price , free and very fast delivery it's a real winner from Amazon. I fully recommend this set to anybody on a budjet. |
Would recommend!

I've had this television little over a month, and I have got to say we have not been disappointed. We were torn between several (Samsung and Toshiba) 32" TV's at a similar price, and after much debating we went with the LG.
Picture and sound both fantastic, really vivid and clear. The TV looks great, and there's plenty of connectivity options and different 'modes' (Game, cinema etc), which really enhance the experience when playing xBox or watching DVD's.
Set up is very easy to use too - we're no techie's at all but had it out of the box to working perfectly within 10 minutes. Just turn it on and it will automatically set up for you.
Only a couple of very small gripes; although it's really just me knit picking...
Firstly, when flicking through channels as we often do when we can't decide what to watch, there's no 'quick guide' that displays what's on each channel like there would be using a free-view box. The fullscreen guide is very clear and easy to use, but if you're just flicking channels it doesn't show you what's on unless you press 'info' for each one.
Second point, it can seem a little slow - another review commented on the speed of it turning on, and I have to agree. Okay, it is literally a 5-6 seconds, but you do sometimes wonder if you flicked the switch correctly whilst it powers on. Same for 'flicking' through channels, it can feel a little slow to react.
However, all in all a fantastic TV - really pleased we splashed out and upgraded and would have no regrets whatsoever in recommending this attractive, cheap and good quality tv, with all the connectivity and features the average viewer would need. Hope this helps!
