| I purchased this the other week and find it an excellent tv. It took me 10mins to setup and that inclued taking it out of the box and tunning it in :) I was originally going to give it 4 stars due to the limited options for audio output (1x optical), it would have been nice to have some phono audio out sockets so I could connect to my dated surround system. I have given it 5 stars due to the fact that the usb socket can be enabled which lets you watch movies, listen to mp3 & view photo's. |

I Purchased this TV new direct from Amazon a few weeks ago. (I would recommend Amazon for reliability of delivery etc.) The picture quality is excellent & with all the HDMI sockets there is no more need to keep plugging in & unplugging different items. It looks great & the sound quality is very good. The set-up is also very straight-foreward for a change! All in all this the best lower-cost LCD I have owned. Well done LG!!!

This TV replaces a 4-year old LG 26" LCD TV and this one is a big improvement.
It's hard to choose between the similar LH372000, 3000 and 4000. I settled on this one (3000) because I didn't think I'd need the 100Hz mode of the 4000 and I was happy with the price of this one. I might have been able to make do with the 2000 because the main difference seems to be that it has 2 HDMI sockets instead of the 3 on the 3000.
Regardless, the picture on the 3000 is stunning - I use it with an LG BD370 Blu Ray player and an XBox 360 in 1080p and both look superb. I use a Sony amplifier which sounds way better than the built-in speakers, but they're not totally terrible.
Hard to fault the TV in any way really. I've just bought a Logitech Harmony 515 remote which replaces the 5 other remotes that were cluttering up my living roonm. Recommended for anyone who has lots of AV equipment in their lounge. |

I purchased this item which was delivered in under 24 Hours. Setup was extremely simple and within a few minutes we were watching superb quality standard definition pictures. Another member of our family was so taken with the overall package that we ordered a second 37LH3000 for them, a couple of days later. This was also delivered in under 24 Hours and is performing perfectly.
We went on to purchase a matching LG Blu-Ray Player, BD370, which is producing stunning HD Pictures.
One slight negative is that initially out of the box, pictures were a little on the dark side, particularly where scenes were on the dark side anyway. I have now found a setting that is adequate, but would have liked a bit more vivid display if that had been available.
Overall, these purchases were very good value for money and both products are thoroughly recommended. |
Fine and dandy

We are a family of four - it works great. There are some reviews that complain about the remote - it's a remote. It works fine. Personally, i prefer not to have a zillion buttons. The TV's menu of options seem pretty straightforward.
We use a freesat box with scart - the TV arrived at our door and we were watching our new TV within 20 minutes. All you need is a screwdriver to install the stand - the four screws are included.
The initial setup is pretty simple - if you're familiar with hitting "OK" or "Cancel" buttons, like on a computer, you will have no problems.
The sound is good. The picture is really good - we watch from a 10-foot distance. It doesn't look so good from (say) six feet, but that's what you get with these TVs.
i LOVE the hard power switch - great idea. You don't have it on 'standby' all night, or reach into the dust farm to switch it off at the wall.
It arrived at our door about 24 hours after we ordered it - we're in NI.
i'm considering adopting this TV as a third child. |

Bought this to replace a two year old 37" LG that was starting to look a bit small, now that we watch alot more movies and will be used for gaming.
Picture quality is good, considering using standard definition Sky for TV, but watching blu-ray movies, or playing games in hi def, picture is spot on, and plenty of picture options in the menu to get it spot on for your own environment.
Can't speak for the audio quality as have it hooked up to a surround system, as with all built in speakers, i assume its ok as long as you dont expect too much.
Built in Freeview tuner works fine.
I like how it detects which inputs are currently connected, and only shows those when switching between inputs - rather than the whole list.
its also got a cool red/blue standby light, and a proper power switch to reduce power consumption to 0.1 watts when not being used. |

The picture quality is excellent with great colours and definition. The sound is also very good compared to my old TV. There are plenty of different options for sound and picture adjustment. Very easy to set up and start viewing.
Cons
The remote is a bit on the small side; therefore some of the buttons a bit close together. The instruction book is on a CD-ROM. A small leaflet showing how to fix the stand and just turn on the TV.
But as I said set up is easy.

| I have been researching 37" flat screen TVs for past 6 months trying to understand the technical jargon etc. I went to Curry's and Comet, Tesco and Argos. Finally decided on this TV due to excellent reviews. In Curry's this exact TV was £100 more than Amazon so once I realised I had a bargain i ordered from Amazon. It was free delivery which took 2 days and it took me about 15 minutes to attach the stand and plug in. The picture is brilliant and sound fantastic I do not need surround sound as was advised by some salesmen. However after 2 days I did loose channels ITV and Channel 4 but after another re-tuning they were there brilliantly clear. I was worried about purchasing a TV with little knowledge but this one has proved excellent value for money. |

Really happy with the product, I recommend this television to everyone.
There is nothing with this price to give you so much in image quality and brightness/contrast ratio!!
