This TV is great, I can't fault anything at the moment, the sound is brilliant, the picture sharp and clear-just set it how you like it & realise that not all broadcast programmes are filmed in a high quality. However once we connected our dvd recorder with a HDMI CABLE it soon became clear(literaly) what we had been missing, as nearly all of our dvd collection (especially the newer ones)had detail like we had never seen before.
A good introduction into the world of LCD & HD television if you've not experienced it before! |

I did a fair bit of researching for a TV and decided on this one.
1080p, 100HZ, USB connnection... you cant go wrong. except maybe paying another £60 and getting the 42" version. (Do some good shopping to find that deal though)
You can even hook up a proper external hard drive and the TV can navigate to it and go through for photos for a sideshow.
Used this with my Xbox 360 and its great, Just a shame the xbox isn't powerfull enough to do 100hz !
Very happy, the menu is very good and easily navigated the thing that surprised me is the base doesnt glow blue like i though it would. But i dont care.

Fantastic quality picture & easy to set up, great for watching the Grand prix.
So many options for getting the sound & picture perfect. 8 day Freeview tv guide built in means you'll never have to buy a tv mag again. |

Positives: - Lovely perfect picture, escpecially when watching full 1080 Blue-ray films. The 100Hz technology helps loads.
Negatives: - The black frame around the TV is quite thick. Strangly the sound quality sounded much better when it was free standing rather than as it sounds mounted flat against the wall.
Wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. |

Well worth paying the extra for the 100hz if you like sport. No blur around the ball, that i have seen on some 50hz
lcds.I cant rate this highly enough. |

Really happy with my purchase, picture quality is amazing compared to my old tv, also since it's a 37inch, much easier when playing games like COD MW2, especially online against others. In other words I'd give it a 10/10.

We looked around for several LCD TVs and finally settled for this one. It's an excellent TV, with one of the best LCD pictures I have seen and I have not yet got it connected to a HD source. Setup is easy, TV looks good, plenty of connections.
My only critisism would be that the sound from the TV does not have much depth to it. The sound is clear, but in comparison to the CRT that it has replaced, the sound is nowhere near as good. However I suspect that this has something to do with that fact that the LCD TVs are so thin and the speakers have to be mounted facing down. I popped into Comet the other day and a lot of the TVs suffer with this, so I don't think this is a fault and definately should not put you off buying this. I am getting used to the sound now and anyhow, I have a surround sound system so this is not really a problem.
A great telly, very pleased with the purchase. |
