LG 42LH3000 42-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD TV with Freeview - Black
Researched TVs for weeks and decided on this TV. Very easy to set up, very pleased with the look and performance of the TV. Was a little disapointed at first with picture quality but discovered that it was on antenna. Switch it to AV1 or 2 and the picture is perfect. |

| Ordered an LG 42LH3000 television on 15th Dec 09 & it arrived as promised on 17th Dec09. Set up was so quick & easy. One prob was I couldn't get my sky remote to operate the volume but read another review which said to try code 1176 - I did and hey presto it worked !! Def want to order another slightly smaller LG TV for my bedroom now !! |

Had the TV just over a week now and it has been excellent, very easy to set up and link to existing equipment. The picture quality and sound quality are very good and more than compete with the more expensive Sony or Panasonic (which I was originally looking to buy). Having heard that the sound quality of LCD/Plasma TV's not very good I considered buying a surround sound system to go with it, however so far haven't felt the need to go to the expense.

| Picture very sharp and colour perfect. Excellent all round TV with good sound and very future proof for film lovers like myself. Its worth paying that little extra for the better quality picture in this size. |

My husband wanted a new TV and he'd be talking to friends and reading a little moreon the web as well as numerous visits to all electrical shops and even large supermarkets. Each time, no TV was bought.
I decided to 'help' and we went to the stores, surfed the web and listened to what people had to say. We had a digital LG already, but we were going 'LARGE'.
This was the best deal on the NET for what the product offered and it's FAB!
Easy set up and Digital TV's as easy anyway although this literally does it for you when you turn on the TV. Full HD which is better than HR Ready although if I'm honest, unless you had the 2 screen on simultaneously, I doubt you'd even notice.
Nice clean straight lines on framed black gloss.
It does what is says on the box and it was cheaper on here than anywhere esle.

| Wanted a hdtv for my bedroom and after looking at various reviews and prices went for the 32LH3000.Have always been very happy with LG's products as you get alot for your money over other makes in the same price range.When lounge plasma tv broke,headed online straight for the 42LH3000 and found Amazon was doing it at the best price, so order it and got it delivered the next day. Sound,picture & looks are amazing!!. Have now ordered LG blue ray player to get the full 1080p experience. |

I wasn't sure at first if ordering a TV from the internet was a good idea without seeing it first but I decided to take the plunge and am so pleased with it. The TV is fantastic - the picture is great, the sound is great and it looks great. It was so easy to set up as well. Once you've connected it to all the right points you just switch on and it automaticallly tunes itself in. And I found my sky channel very easily as well. Well worth the money..
The only small issue I had was when ordering, you can't choose/specify a day that suits. Or at least I didn't see this option. And its a large box so not like you can just go and pick it up from the post office!
Apart from that - am very happy indeed. |
