Good old Amazon brill service. Only disapointment was I had to order Blueray dvd from another company and that wont be here till Monday.
However the LG LH7000 is just fantastic. Great quality picture best I've seen.Great value at £817.

I just bought this tv and absolulty love it.
Picture quality is briliant, design is awsome, doesent matter in full HD or just digital picture is vibrant and full of colours.
What I love the most is the usb port in the back which allow you to play all!
Music, fotos and the most important Div X HD!!!!!!!!!!!
I did connect my 400GB hard drive and enjoyed a lot movies in divx.Quality of divx is just amazing and now waiting for delivery ofmy new home theatre to enjoy even more the cinema experience.
I I will be very very picky I would say the sound is not so great , but still very good.
This is quite common with all LCD flat screen ( this one just 37mm) that the speaker will not give you a superb bass. But this I will sort with my new home cinema also from LG 762TZ will match all perectly
Highly Highly recommended payed £738 from AMAZON which was the best price I found, I could see now that the price went up!

| Excellent product with first class picture. Next day delivery. I had no problem setting up. I also made a considerable saving by purchasing from Amazon. |

We bought this because it got good reviews and glad we did. It was £300 cheaper on Amazon than other shops so we got a bargain. We have just had Sky HD installed and the picture is brilliant, it's also first class on a normal picture. The sound is very good as we thought of getting speakers but don't need them. You can select different set ups to alter the image and sound to suit what you are watching.
We store films on a USB stick and watch them from that. Its got bluetooth so the computer can connect. Its got everything you need, all in all the best TV we could have bought in our opinion. |
Disappointing sound (and sound options) and wobbly stand

| Big clear picture, as expected. Things that have disappointed me are: sound is very tinny (even with bass at max), no audio out other than digital (so no option for active sub-woofer), when playing DivX cannot hear movie unless volume whacked up to 100% (then MUST remember to turn down before stopping else will blow windows out). Stand is wobbly (obviously expected to be wall mounted as stand feels like it's going to give way). Finally, TV does not auto-detect inputs, so when changing from DVD to Sat, have to use remote to toggle inputs. |
Good but a couple of negative points

| This TV can be found at an impressive price, and is very good value for money broadly speaking. It has 1080p, the colours are bright and vivid enough, a reasonable contrast ratio...however it is only 50hz and on a screen this size it does make a difference....moving images can appear very blurry and I'm now considering paying more for the 100 or 200hz version as it'll will probably bug me everytime I watch sport or play on the pS3. |
Poor quality control by LG

Amazon delivered this item with their usual efficiency but upon setting up the TV I immediately noticed it emitted a very audible humming noise. I emailed LG explaining the problem who replied telling me to call their telephone support line. Their support line is a premium rate number! Anyway, I phoned the number and explained the problem and the guy confirmed it was faulty so I've now returned it.
Scouring the forums I've since learnt that this is not an uncommon problem and you'd think LG would have either solved the problem or would test them before shipping them. It wastes everyone's time and money. Well, at least LG made some money out of the telephone call!!
The Amazon returns process is first rate. Amazon picked it up when I asked them to and refunded my money without delay. Have now bought a Samsung instead. 100% happy with it.
