| Panasonic TX-L32G10B 32-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD TV with Freesat - Installation Recommended As a TV engineer of 50years standing, I did a lot of groundwork prior to this purchase. The picture quality is by far the best I have ever seen.Excellent value and well made. |

| If a 32" L.C.D. television is what youare looking for then this is the one. The analogue picture quality is better than ever but you'll never use it, you'll be watching on Freesat or through a Freeview or Sky box. H.D. pictures are superb and the set has all the scarts etc. you'll ever need. The sound quality is as good as any t.v. I've ever heard but if you choose to use external speakers the amp. gives a wide tange of response. And at Amazon's price it's a BARGAIN!! |
High Quality TV

Having stood in John Lewis and spent some time oggling all the TV's on show, when comparing like for like, the saturation of colours, crispness of picture and viewing angle of this TV appeared to me to be superior to the SONY rival of a similar specification.
Now home - the picture quality of this TV is still its strongest point. When paired with a blu ray player and a disc such as BBC's 'Nature's Great Events' the picture is excellent. The definition of the colours is very strong and a good replication of reality. The motionflow also seems to be keep things smooth.
Generally the TV has a feel of quality from the remote to the TV guide. The setup was very easy with both Freeview and Freesat. It's worth spending a bit of time tweaking the settings to optimise the picture.
Would thoroughly recommend.

| I ordered this at 1530 on a Friday, and it was delivered by 0830 on Saturday! I'm very happy with the TV, although typically the price dropped not long after I bought it! Setup is very easy, just plug in the satellite cable and/or TV aerial and turn it on, it does the rest for you. There's also an 'Other Sat' option that you can enable to get a whole load more channels (although most of them aren't worth watching!). |
Only a few minor changes would make a 100% perfect set

The picture on this set is excellent in SD or HD. There is no discernible digital noise around moving images (at least of those seen so far) which normally you see on the 50Hz sets. Set-up was easy and the remote buttons are large enough for any size hands or eyesight - if that concerns you.
I love the "other sat" option that allows you to tune in for instance channels on Astra 19 as well as the Freesat channels on Astra 28. This however also has a minor problem that if fixed would have made the set absolutely perfect for me - there is no option to allow the tuner to turn a satellite dish and so if you intend to use this option you will need either separate satellite tuner to drive the motor or 2 dishes and 2 cables that you change at the back of the set?! (or maybe there is a satellite cable 2 into 1 connector. I am not sure why Panasonic included this option without the ability to move a dish although the option itself is a very welcome option for me, it's just that it seems like half of an implementation.
Also a minor irritation is that there is no picture shown on the guide, the space is taken by advertising.
Another great thing is that even when you have recorded DVD's in an incorrect format for widescreen it allows you to change this so that the display is corrected. Whether this works for all incorrect formats I cannot say, but it did change settings so that my 16:9 DVD that played in a window with borders top and bottom played correctly.
Get ready to buy more disks to record onto though because the picture is so good it encourages you to record in High Quality to see it on your DVD's too.
For the picture and normal settings this set gets 5* from me.
For the lack of the satellite motor control and picture in picture guide probably it should be 4 or 4.5* |

| I find this TV excellent. I am still finding how to use the hand set. But no problems really it is technology that we all have to embrace. I watched my SD card on the TV last night far better than on a computer screen and music plays as well. The picture quality for the photos was really good. My husband now says that we will have to get new SD cards so we can keep our photos to watch on the TV. To watch TV programmes in HD is excellent. Watching Rick Stein in the far east is like being there. He is in a boat on a river and you could be in another boat at the side of him, it is so real. So I have no regrets whatsoever having purchased what I consider an excellent product |

| Although we had a flat screen television, turning on the Panasonic TX-L32G10B 32-inch Widescreen HD TV was like entering a new era. The sharpness and colour saturation is simply amazing and the quality of the picture makes even the most mundane programme interesting. The fact that the FreeSat tuner is built into the set was also a real plus as we are limited for space. |

After looking around for a while the 32" was perfect for our room, I had an old sky dish on the
wall which had not been used for a few years and thought this TV was for me.
On setting up which was easy, I was amazed at the picture quality, and lots of satelite programs
on freesat and even more on the other sat channel mode. After a couple of months with the Tv i'm
still blown away with the picture and thats not even the HD channel. Also it upscales the DVD's
and they look even better to. In a word Brilliant! you wont be disapointed with this set. |

| Got this to be able to watch digital before the switchover using the Freesat connection. The picture is exceptional and looks good with even the analogue signal. On HD it is even better. Highly recommended. |

I was looking for a high definition tv that offered top quality at a reasonable price; this Panasonic delivers on both of the above. I opted for Panasonic as opposed to Sony as I wasn't happy with the last Sony hi-def set I'd purchased.
This 32 inch set is 1080p, which is full high definition and offers a nice clear, crisp picture, the sound is solid enough aswell. The initial setup is straight forward and you'll be up and running in next to no time.
Appearance wise this Panasonic looks great, complete with a swivel stand that enables you to alter the viewing position of your television without having to lift it.The remote is well designed being easy to use and is well laid out. Two small gripes, the set is black attracting a lot of dust and seems to be more difficult than average to comprehensively remove from the screen.Gripe number two the buttons on the side in the absence of a remote would have benefitted from being more refined. For example, seperate buttons for volume would have been sensible instead of an amalgamation.
This Panasonic has 3 transmission modes:Freesat,Freeview and analogue a veritable full suit. I initially, had concerns about the Freesat connection as you need a satellite feed in order to receive the service. If you have Sky + though you can pinch one of the 2 feeds from there and still utilise both services. This was the method I adopted as a temporary measure until I bought myself the materials to run an extra 2 feeds myself from the Sky + quad LNB dish, which was simple enough to do. I can now watch Sky on one channel whilst recording another and watch Freesat and Freeview all from the same set!
With regards to the Freesat service it offers an abundance of extra channels in comparision to Freeview, but if you've already got Sky you only really gain BBC HD and a handful of other channnels. BBC HD is very good but you only get a limited run each day and as for ITV HD;I still am unable to track it down red button or not. The electronic 7 day tv guide functions finely allowing you to opt for a portrait or landscape view and is easy to navigate.
This Panasonic tv has great interconnectivity featuring 4 HDMI slots, lots of AV inputs, a CI slot for subscription television and a SD card slot, which you can utilise to view your digital photos on television. As of yet I've only connected my PS3 and an additional dvd player to my set and they have both functioned hassle free. Yet to experiment with connecting a pc or camcorder to the Tv.
In summary, this is a fantastic set offering really solid performance and excellent interconnections and a whole host of viewing options with BBC HD for free being one of the best. Despite some small criticisms this Panasonic set is worthy of 5 stars and laughs in the face of my old 40 inch Sony HD set in terms of overall package.
