| The LCD TV is an absolute brilliant piece of kit. The picture quality is the best I have ever seen and the older programmes almost look like they are being played in HD. The sound is very effective and you don't get that boom blast when you change channels. A great buy and and gives a great all round Picture and sound. I have always been with with Toshiba and they have never let me down. Brilliant! |

I owned a 40" Toshiba which developed a fault out of warranty, Called toshiba who immediately told me it was a known fault and gave me all details required to get comet to exchange it. Comet picked up the damaged one when they delivered this one as a replacement.
I had been a bit unsure when we chose it, but after Toshibas service, I wasn't going to go to another brand.
As soon as I hooked it up, I was stunned at the improvement over the previous unit (which I had been very happy with).
Sky HD looks razor sharp, and I've convinced a few people about HD off the back of the difference this makes.
The media player is handy and it has a good number of connections etc
Would definitely recommend.

| This was our first large screen LCD HDTV. After weeks of deliberation and researching it seemed this was the best choice in our price range. I have to say we're delighted with it overall. To be honest any decent LCD was going to be an improvement over our old set but this really has impressed us. The picture is great and allows for plenty of fine tuning. HD programmes are startling in their detail and clarity and many standard programmes look exceptional too. Gaming is a big improvement. The only slight criticism is the audio. Being used to a surround sound system it just doesn't carry enough weight and disappointingly our old system won't hook up with the TV. So an upgrade to system with an optical digital audio connection is something we weren't expecting. Having said that I can't fault the Toshiba, it's a great piece of kit and I would certainly buy another. If you're undecided between this and other sets in this price range my advice is go for this one, I don't think you'll regret it. |

Easy set up and it has all the connections that I require. 2 x scarts, audio connectors and a slot for the memory card.
The picture is good and there are adjustments that one can make to get the best but I still find that distance views are not as clear as I would like hence I have only rated it as 4 star. |

i have owned toshiba products for many years,this being the latest.once again the product is very good.it would not connect with my old dvd recorder,so i contacted toshiba,what a waste of time.the people were inexperienced, and could not help me. after 8 calls to them, i asked to speak to someone with more technical knowledge, they said someone would call back,they never did. i have purchased a new dvd recorder which works fine, but because of the after sales experience with toshiba,i would never buy another toshiba product.i have given the tv 4 stars, aftersales nil.

I am not happy about the tv i bought.pictures on the screen is not clear (picture clarity) and back ground picturs are very unclear. some letters on the screen does not show fully.i am very dissapinted about this and i might retern the tv soon.
